Big Brothers Big Sisters of South -West Durham and Northumberland will be operating FREE week long summer camps: Creative Haven and Mentorship in Motion.

• FREE
• For youth ages 10-12
• Offered in both Oshawa and Ajax
• Weekly outing/field trip
• Pizza party at the end of the week
• Mentorship activities enhancing: Self-understanding, leadership, confidence and positive relationships

Programs Offered

Creative Haven is a fun and engaging summer camp for children ages 10-12 to take part in daily arts-based activities, yoga and healthy living.  The goal of this camp is to positively engage children in art, mindfulness, self-care and building positive friendships.

Mentorship in Motion is an active and engaging summer camp for children ages 10-12 to take part in daily sports, games and activities to build positive self-image.  This camp promotes healthy living, building confidence and coping skills for boys and girls through daily activities.  Based off our Go Girls! and Switch Gears programs, participants will engage in breakout discussions about masculinity and femininity, coping and resilience, healthy relationships and confidence to be themselves.
