• For youth ages 10-13
• Offered in both Oshawa and Whitby
• Weekly field trip/or special activity
• Pizza party at the end of the week
• Mentorship activities enhancing: Self-understanding, leadership, confidence and positive relationships

Programs Offered

Creative Haven offers youth a positive environment to take part in group arts-based activities, while enjoying gentle movement throughout the day. BBBS Mentors will support in art skill development, accompanied with activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and enhance social connectedness. The goal of the program is to improve mental health and well-being through the development of positive self-esteem, mindfulness and self care.

Mentorship in Motion is a unique summer camp experience that provides youth with new ways to fall in love with learning through hands-on skill building activities over the course of a fun and exciting week of camp! Youth will be supported in their learning by trained mentors from the local community that foster a safe and inclusive group setting, empowering them to build strong relationships and encouraging them to become leaders in their community and social circles. Throughout the camp, youth will participate in exciting activities surrounding sport, nature, and STEM, all while having purposeful discussions about their self-identity and future as a young person.
